A well-meaning general store owner in [[Copperhead]], confidant and occasional advisor to the King of the Dwarves, who advised [[Carrot Ironfoundersson]] to go and seek his fortune in [[Ankh-Morpork]]. In his way, the very small pebble who started a mighty avalanche, with Ankh-Morpork being at the bottom of the mountain. 
He was the original owner both of [[The Laws and Ordinances of the Cities Ankh and Morpork]] and of the [[Protective]], both of which traveled with Carrot.
