King '''Gurnt the Stupid''' is only a footnote to the history of [[Lancre]], probably for the same reason he's known as Gurnt ''the Stupid''. He's remembered largely for a plan to equip a squadron of armored attack ravens which worked as well as expected. Some of the raven armor remains in [[Lancre Castle]]'s armory: the ravens failed to survive the first sortie.
