Miss Drapes is the senior clerk at the [[Royal Bank of Ankh-Morpork]], living in [[Welcome Soap]]. She is a pallid, thin, woman who appears prematurely aged by the burden of working for [[Mavolio Bent]]. However, she carries a torch for him, and her dreams burst into life wonderfully when, at the end of the book, they announce their engagement.
