Young and idealistic, he allows [[Twoflower]] to visit [[Ankh-Morpork]], going so far as to order the [[Patrician]] to protect him. In {{M}}, he even suggests putting gates in the [[Great Wall]].<br />
<br />
He evades an assassination attempt by Grand Vizier [[Nine Turning Mirrors]] in {{M}}, but is no longer Emperor in {{IT}}, and it seems likely he was assassinated by his uncle, who then claimed the throne.<br />
