The '''Rim''' is the edge of the [[Discworld (world)|Discworld]]. It is about thirty miles thick. It's the end of the world, where water continuously falls off in what is known as the [[Rimfall]]. Why the water never runs out is one of the disc's greatest mysteries, another being why it falls, and where.

In {{COM}}, [[Rincewind]] and [[Twoflower]] are nearly washed over the rim but are saved by the [[Circumfence]].

The most notable place near the Rim is the island [[Krull]], whose inhabitants constructed the [[Circumfence]]. The mountainous edge of Krull actually sticks out over the rim, so that it is possible to look down and see the stars.

An '''ig ''' with a lower-case "i" is a lizard-like reptilian-ish lifeform, (possibly short for ''iguana''?), native to the planet [[Widdershins]]. They are small enough to confortably perch on the sholder of a human. They have a dumpy body with pink hair sprouting from a scaley hide, a snout and three pairs of legs.

'''Ig''' with an upper-case "I" is the particular ig which enters into a master-pet relationship with [[Dom Sabalos]] and which travels the galaxy with him in search of the fabled [[Jokers World]].

There may be more - a lot more - to Ig than meets the eye...
